Her fight is our fight!

In 2017, we held our first annual Frick-n-Frack 5K benefiting two wonderful sisters in our Hampton Roads community (Pattie and Jackie... affectionately know as Frick and Frack). They were both diagnosed with breast cancer in the same year and we were able come together and help them in a beautiful way. Sadly, a few months after that race, Pattie’s daughter and Jackie’s niece, Lyndsey was also diagnosed with (her second round of) Breast Cancer. Yes...you read that right. The same family struck 3x in under a year! These women and their friends have set out on a crusade to take care of others in the same way that they were loved on and cared for during their fight. They have appropriately adopted the slogan...Her fight is my fight. All proceeds from the race stay local and will benefit the nonprofit Frick and Frack Foundation. To date the foundation has been able to help over 20 women with a variety of needs: moral support, advice, mastectomy and chemotherapy aids, and help with household and medical bills while undergoing treatment. Unfortunately, until there is a cure, we will always have someone in need! Fortunately, we have the means, the platform, and this amazing community to step up and fight together.
